I'm back with more nifty widgets. This time after getting some inspiration from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! explanation of torque and horsepower.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The first widget calculates horsepower given torque (lb/ft) and rpm. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that one.

The next one is very similar, but instead calculates torque given horsepower and rpm. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that one.

I could also create one that calculates rpm, but I felt that that was slightly unnecessary (not that all of these aren't).

Of course, all of this stuff can be learned read about over !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with Jason's fantastic write-up and infographic.

hp= tq *rpm/5252

rearrange formula to solve for unknowns

:( won't work on my phone, even with flash/desktop mode enabled.

Does 5252rpm give the same results?

Funny thing, it seems to break when you input 5252. I don't now why.

That's how I have it arranged.

Is it not working for you?

Is it possible to add if/else statements? that would solve your problem.

Probably. Wolfram Alpha does everything. :P

Here's a neat tool I use. It can convert between Hp, Kw, and PS, as well as lb-ft, Kgf-m, and Nm.
